The TROIS, 2, 1, GO! Race presented by Caisse Desjardins du Centre-est de Montréal is more than just a race: it’s a celebration of inclusion and a powerful way to raise awareness and funds for trisomy 21.
We need you on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22 to help create an unforgettable experience for over 1,200 runners and the entire community coming together for this important cause!

Welcome & Registration
We are looking for a friendly team to manage registrations and/or bib pickup and to guide runners on the morning of the event.
Parking
Guide vendors and guests to their designated parking spots and respond to any questions.
Registrations
Distribute bibs and provide information about the races and event to participants.
Runner Welcome Team
Runners start arriving as early as 7:30 a.m. We need volunteers to guide them to the appropriate registration lines and answer any questions they may have about the event.
Cloakroom
Oversee and monitor the on-site cloakroom and manage participants’ personal items.
Setup & Takedown
We need reliable and efficient volunteers who can be present for the crucial stages of setting up and taking down the event site.
Pre-Setup
Prepare the necessary materials at the chalet in Parc Maisonneuve on Friday, August 21.
Site Setup
On race day, assist in setting up the event site and preparing for the races.
Takedown
At the end of the event, help with organizing, packing, and loading materials.
Booths
Assist at various partner booths by interacting with guests and providing information.
RT21 Booth
Work with the RT21 team to present the organization’s services, handle merchandise sales, and accept donations.
BBQ Station
Two teams are needed. One to sell BBQ tickets while the other prepare and serve food orders
Race routes
We need a team of dynamic volunteers to take care of setting up the course, creating a lively atmosphere, managing water stations, and guiding runners along the way.
Race route Marking
Race route marking is done on the morning of the race.
On-Course Guidance
To ensure the smooth progress of the race, volunteers will be assigned to key points along the course to guide and encourage runners.
Pace Bunnies
Pace bunnies are experienced runners who provide a visual reference point for participants throughout the race.
Opening and Closing of the Course
The opening and closing of the race, done by bike, is an essential role that ensures the safety of the runners.
Water Stations
Two water stations are set up along the course. Volunteers are responsible for preparing the drinks in advance (water and BCAA) and offering them to the runners.
Volunteers
We need a small team of volunteers to handle logistics and ensure the smooth running of the volunteer experience, including welcome and lunch.
Welcome
On the morning of the event, we have one volunteer responsible for welcoming the other volunteers, giving them their bibs along with the day’s schedule and their assigned tasks.
Volunteer Food
We offer volunteers morning snacks such as muffins, pastries and fruit, as well as lunch. We therefore need people to manage the food area for all our volunteers.
